The Whitmeyer Research Library is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm, other days and times by appointment only.
The resources in the Whitmeyer Library are advancing the library to becoming an archival library for Tyler County. These materials will be of assistance to those looking for general history, science and nature information, thus expanding beyond just researching family histories to reaching back to look at past lifestyles and the natural phenomena of Tyler County and the surrounding areas.
Local history books can be purchased at the museum store as well.
