Big Woods Nature Trail
Photo-of-the-Month
For February is by
Elton Gish
of Lumberton, TX

Photo-of-Month February

Violets are a Herald of Spring in East Texas. Elton Gish from Lumberton took this stunning photo of a violet blooming along the Big Woods Nature Trail across from the Pickett House at Heritage Village. The Tyler County Art League Judge, noting the nice close-up and blurry background, selected this submission as the Photo-of-the-Month for February. With numerous days of beautiful weather, it is a great time to walk the Trail, snap photos and submit them to the email address posted on the kiosk.
