Big Woods Nature Trail
Photo-of-the-Month
For May is by
Elton Gish
of Lumberton, TX

Photo-of-Month May

The Tyler County Art League Judge selected Elton Gish's photo as the May Photo-of-the-Month for the Big Woos Nature Trail. The judge stated that the photo "looks like a documentary photo showing the resilience of the Big Thicket... new life replacing the old..." Elton is from Lumberton and is a frequently visitor of the Pickett House Restaurant and the Big Woods Nature Trail.

The Trail kiosk across the parking lot from the Pickett House displays a map from which you can choose your own path the woods. Please take time to enjoy the Trail and share your photos.
